Dog Sitting

I have the privilege of taking care of my boss' dogs, Penny, Charlie & Lily while he's out of town for the gift shows he attends. I also am getting paid to do it. They are great love-starved dogs when he's gone.

He's had Penny the longest, she's a pretty black Border collie mix. Low maintenance and such a sweet, smart girl.

Charlie is a very high-energized Chihuahua mix. He's got personality plus and is very needy. I love him the most though, there's just something about him.

Lily is a Yorkie, probably a purebred, over-bred little girl. She's got chronic ear problems, too much cartilage, so much that I think she may have a tough time hearing. The ears are almost closed off. But sweet, oh my goodness she's the sweetest thing.

I'd give my right arm for this yard though. It's stone, grass, pebbles & almost completely shaded. What a wonderful time and good money taking care of these three!

Plenty Of Hot Walks

My dogs look forward to their evening (and only) outing everyday. Every now and then I will skip an evening, but I can't deal with my self-imposed guilt when the evening winds down and they realize that all chances of going out are gone.

So you see, I can NOT skip their outings. If it's hot, cold, raining or otherwise unpleasant for me, too bad ~ they're getting their outings!

The Clouds Of Home & A Rainbow

And family.

What A Wonderful Vacation

I've just returned from a vacation trip home to see family. The farm where I grew up stays the same. Beautiful, serene, home.

My childhood home.
